If your organization is like most local animal shelters and rescues, you probably spend a lot of time and effort planning fundraising and adoption events, and brainstorming other creative ways to let your local community know about who you are and how you’re helping animals in your city, county or state.

When you have a great event, or a particularly heartwarming success story, you want everyone to know about it — and we here at HSSP want to help you spread the word.

Whether you’re holding an adoption event like the Humane Society of Greater Nashua’s “Kitten Shower,” a fundraiser like the “Heroes for Ferals Walk-A-Thon” hosted by the Freeborn County Humane Society, or just sharing a rescue and adoption success story, we’d love to know about it so we can lend our support to the cause while reminding your community to give locally to help homeless pets in their area.

So let us know if your holding a fun event that you want everyone to know about — and we’ll be happy to write a letter to your local paper voicing our support! Or, if you want, you can write your own letter to the editor or use our new press release generator to create a perfectly formatted news tidbit to submit to your local paper.

Send any newsworthy events, stories or ideas to [email protected] and we’ll do what we can to make sure you get the good press you deserve!
